  • Thanks Kobir and Emanuele, I will probably try Reaper for now. As you can see from the screenshot it makes samplemodeling unusable. I am using a mac mini attached to a 50" smart TV, I don't think screen resolution is the problem, but Garage ba…
  • No one? I used garage band before I stopped playing quite awhile back and I didn't have this problem ... I only ever used the Mac mini for music so it has not been used for sometime ... On re-using the mac I was prompted to install updates ...…

  • Thanks for the detailed answer . I suppose I forget that the Yamaha's are very old instruments, so I take your point, any changes that would affect other parametres would be unwise for instruments that can get resolutions in other ways. …
  • It would be nice to get a clear answer in public on this issue. Surely a proper midi transpose would do what it says? Transpose the incoming midi message. When I press a note on my instrument, it is simply a switch that sends a pitch depe…

  • I don't know if it is relative, but the Dell duo is described as a tablet convertible laptop. But surely the description of the unit is secondary to the processing power? As I said earlier it has a 1.5GHZ Core 2 Duo (Dual core) processor and 2G…
