I loved your section work and how you scooped the bari into the horns. I liked the level of the horns but I agree the drums needed to be hotter in the mix.

Thank's Perry , Yes they are , I felt like I was playing a real Bari

Thanks for your response Stephan, The limit as you have described it makes sense. In my caseit is not a problem since I transpose my Synthophone to Eb which is the native key to an Alto sax. Now I have keys available all the way done to Bb.

Yes "Windcontroller 1" I have just set it at 12 and clicked and blown, and it can go 2 octaves!! I understand how to shift the octaves , it is the loss of keys I am concerned with. There is a key range function within Kontakt if you click the l…

Hello Stefano, Thanks for the reply. In a future revised manual it might be helpful if parameter settings not applicable to windcontroller players were described as such. Congratulations on producing two more fantastic instruments. What …

Remember it won't increase or change the instruments range. I don't understand why low Bb and B are lost after changing transpose to 0 from 12 in CC remapping. In Windcontroller mode are you also able to change the attack settings…

Hi Pete, Are you using windcontroller mode? I am using Breath controller mode and cannot get the midi remapping functions to do anything. I would like to occasionally transpose to Eb-Bb up or down, but I would also like to be able to shift…

The phrasing was definately not Mr Saxes fault The backing (In session with Charlie Parker) was 224 BPM. Couldn't you have picked out somthing more difficult. The tone is nice.!

That was very nice , but I would like to hear windcontroller demos. How about hooking up with Yvan.

I would gladly where a T shirt and would be happy to purchase one. Mick Emery once tried to talk me into having a shirt made up that said "It's a Synthophone Dammit", I settled for I don't play Sax I play Synthophone. There was one that was worse …

Hi Iwan, I do use the Synthophone. I have to make sure the volume is up as high as possible and then I am more careful about maxing out the dynamics. I have had a tendency to overblow so that makes the narrow range tougher. I do not have near as …

very cool

Thanks Iwan, You are to kind. I do think that much like the patches in the Yamaha VL70m Turbo chip, the characteristics of each patch make them unique. So it will just take many hours of practice and listening. One of the players I listened…

Iwan, The blend is nice. Your trumpet emulation is superb. You seem to have a natural feel for the articulations and phrasing. I am struggling to get a better trumpet feel. Do you have any tips on that? Do you think about anything different when…

Hi Glenn, Welcome to the forum. There has been many posts on this subject. While many of us have experienced the same problem as you , the problem is usually resolved provided you have enough computer to run The Trumpet. Initially I had that …

Hi Peter, I don't understand your explanation. Even the setting of 64 on Reaper´s ASIO may mean that the overall latency of the whole system is around 512 or even higher, what keeps the CPU load on a lower level. If you set the Player t…

Mr Roth does an excellent intrepretation of a vintage Tenor sound from the 40's. Mr Sax is very credible. I think one would be hard pressed to recognize that the sound was produced with software. I do hear remnants of the growl that fits fine with t…

I don't know what's up with that file, but here is a link to it: http://www.electricmotorsales.net/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/drivup4.mp3

Hey Boogieman, Nice little piece. Your Trumpet work was very credible. The lines fit well with the clip. I liked the song too. Your hooks made me want to listen to more. I do hear that hard to describe held back feeling. It is something in the so…

Thanks Phil, I think your idea for a dedicated Channel switch would be best for me. Your idea that some SysEx data is being generated is probably right. I don't know how to modify that or know even if it can be modified. Anyone have recom…

Another method that worked but isn't as convenient is to use the instruments as VST's in a Reaper sequencer. I could assign a key to mute Channel 1 and another key to mute channel 1. This should have read "I could assign a key to mute Channel 1…

.oh, and here´s another little track I made with TheTrumpet and Mr.SaxT (3 instances of each) Very nice Rudy, I enjoyed all the tracks. Your trumpets sound as real as anything I've heard. Was this done on a keyboard?

Hey Pete , Iknow you are way ahead of me on midi knowledge so I am tickled to death I could help

This forum has a wealth of excellent players. The authors of the program are fortunate to have your posts.

you have a knack of using the software tu full advantage not to mention you are a pro.
-
I concur with what others said. Very nice harmon mute emulation. Your skills are to be admired.

Rob, Nice song , nice playing. The sound itself felt pinched to me. It sounded like a real sax that the player is blowing soft with to much pressure on the reed.

I am trying somthing new. Listen , keep my mouth shut, listen again later, then comment. I still really like it. Your trumpet emulation is superb too.
