The Trumpet and static

edited February 2009 in General Questions
I know I can't be the only one experiencing a static sound when playing The Trumpet. I set the sample rate to 88.2khz and 96khz and i still get it. I reset the engine and no change. It doesn't do that with Mr Sax.

    Hi Glenn,

Welcome to the forum. There has been many posts on this subject. While many of us have experienced the same problem as you , the problem is usually resolved provided you have enough computer to run The Trumpet.

Initially I had that problem and somewhat expected it.

My desktop is not a dedicated music machine and is loaded up with many apps like video editing, web design, etc.... At Giorgio and peter's prompting i set the buffer in the ASIO4All control panel to 512 and that works ok.

I do get better results and can run up to 3 instances of Kontakt in a VST host. There are many posts on this subject here. You will have to do a little homework but you will get ideas on how to get better results.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
