Hi Bob, Did you use your Synthophone to record the horns? If yes, how does it work out for you? I am experiencing kind of a restricted dynamics while using Mr. Sax and the Trumpet with the Synthophone, but I am a newbie with this wind controller.

I think the only way to be sure if there is really a difference, is to measure with a frequency analyzer. Human ears do not all hear the same things, and loss of hearing in high frequencies does start quite at an relatively early age.
