Trumpet 2.01: Installation disaster (almost)

edited January 2009 in General Questions
My Kontakt Player application resides in a folder called "Instruments" inside the applications folder. When I installed the 2.01 update to the Trumpet, the updater DELETED this whole folder and all the virtual instruments standalones that were inside (lots, including Kontakt Player itself)! Fortunately, I had a backup...

I think this shouldn't happen. If the Kontakt Player application is not in the "standard" location (i.e. at the top level of the applications folder), the updater should ask where the Kontakt player resides and not go berserk...

Cheers

What kind system do you have? I use a MacBookPro with OS 10.5x and there was no such a problem.

    MacBook Pro, Mac OS 10.5.1.

Does your Kontakt Player reside in a subfolder inside the applications folder?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
