I have drop outs also. I would be interested in "the fix". Thanks, Mick
-
It's okay here!

Thanks to everyone for their responses. This is exciting. It gives me a plan of action and will also help me get more familiar with the instruments. Mick BTW>>>I am not getting notifications of replies. Maybe it's my ISP? Has…

Man! Thanks Ben!!! What a great read! It took some searching to find out what IR was. (There's my ignorance) Now I need to figure out how to apply it in Kontakt. Thanks again. Mick

I reread my original post. I don't see anything that "implies" recording. I am the horn section. Not to be rude...but do you play a horn section live on stage? That's who I'm looking for advice from.
-
I'm not talking about recording. I'm talking about "live", "on stage".

Another option is Yamaha's WX5. There are a number of controls that can be mapped to various keys.

What I'm really asking is HOW you save a patch. I can't seem to find it.

Hi Danny, VERY nice indeed. I look forward to hearing more from you. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Mick

Dat be it! Thanks Pete!

You may be getting what is often called "the organ effect". Try eq'ing individually or as a section. See if that helps... Mick

Oooooooooooooooooh.... SWEET! Mick

Just tried 2 more times. Still says 0kb!!! Mick

I get 0kb!! Mick

Got it!! Bob Hunt was able to walk me through. Latency had to be set at 18ms.
-
Hi Giorgio, Thanks for posting that. The Trumpet & Mr Sax T were definitely the standouts in that clip. Mick
-
Hi Del, Beautiful piece! Nicely done. Mick
-
Hi Phil, I can pick 44.1, 48, 88.1 or 96. After that is chosen, I have no option of choosing a "sample size". (256, 512 etc.) only ms latency. (1-25 ms) Mick

I hope many of us join to me for a collective thanks to all who work for the release of these instruments : thanks again and long life to sample modeling !!!! Count me in!! Mick
-
Very nice Quincy! Good, convincing use of both instruments. Thanks for sharing that. Mick
-
+1!!
-
Wow!! Beautifully done. Mick
-
Thanks!! Mick

Great job! Great playing, great feel with the machine, Ditto to the above. Nice playing indeed. if it still ain't hard enough then it just ain't there in the samples. Agreed. Maybe the technology applied to these samples can be easily(?)…

On another note - I read a post about pitch bend up - that a sax doesn't bend up. True. That is absolutely NOT true. Many sax players can & do bend up! Mick (former saxophonist...now Synthophonist)

Saw that too!! Mick
