Even if that does not make much sense, because you will need more controls that just mid wheel, you can simply assign the mod wheel CC (CC #1) to expression in the user interface. -Michael

AFAIK the Library can't decide if or if not using DDS. This is set in Kontakt. Dropouts might be introduced by too low buffer size, too low Ram or too slow CPU. Michael (No experience with Mac at all)

I doubt that you'll ever get a realistic sounding piece of music with "manual input" with this kind of software instrument, which is all about real time modulation. If you play keyboard, I recommend trying it with a Seaboard. -Michael

Velocity is a huge advantage. I always use it for legato speed. Sounds so natural ! I also always use Aftertouch for vibrato depth. This feels so natural ! I can't manage a decent Diphram vibratoi with breath, and hence AT is great ! -Michael
