I had this same problem. After I upgraded Kontakt to the latest version it worked though. I know you said you were already running 5.3 but try to update it anyways (check the service center for updates).

Yep. There are a lot of things that I've found that help: 1. don't push the horns too hard. Turn up the volume and turn down the cc11 2. use a little compression to even things out, since being next to a horn is different than hearing them…

I think perhaps that the expression values are probably to high to begin with. If you were to lower the expression values somewhat and turn up the volume to compensate, it just might feel a lot warmer. Plus it might help to attenuate the high f…
