Sample Modeling aficionado tracks

edited July 2015 in User demos
:) Hi all... :)

I'm completly new on this forum whereas I'm a sample Modeling user since the release of The (first) Trumpet, I believe in 2008.

I think there is no better library for trumpet / sax / trombone solo. Sample Modeling is far in front of all the others. I must save some money to get the flutes, now...

I'm glad company like Sample Modeling exists on that planet... :D I believe they don't do all that stuff only for the money : they put love into their matchless products.

I'm a Cubase user and I do everything by myself. I am also a happy "Scope" user since 1998 and a happy Xite-1 (cliK) owner which is gear as fantastic quality as Sample Modeling instruments. I don't know why they are (formerly Creamware and nowaday Sonic Core) not very well-known, at least as much as they deserve. It's amazing gear with outstanding community.

I invite you to come to listen to my tunes here :

In almost all those tracks, I use a Sample Modeling instrument. You can download almost all (as I see this forum section is for user demos with attachement).

:? Don't be shy to tell me what you think about my tunes ! This forum must be full of good musicians and people who enjoy jazzy stuff, I imagine... :o

Merci de votre attention.

Cheers !

Of course the DSPs provide a really powerful hardware for music applications. But OTOH the hardware is dedicated to software (plugins) that is especially done or it, while software done for X86 (PC) runs everywhere. And X86 multi-core hardware becomes more powerful at the same price each year. I suppose it will be replaced by ARM64 based hardware but there are several years to go.

I use Reaper as a DAW and (for a really moderate price) same comes with the ability to use (many) additional PCs via network to do the rendering for the instruments and effects of the tracks.

    Very professionally done !

"Electric" is not at all my kind of music, so I can't comment on the art it provides.

    Thanks a lot, Mr Schnell.

Yes ! Flutes looks prety nice !

When I saw the price for cubase 8, I was with cubase 5 ; 399€ (!!!) I decided to try Reaper. But as I used cubase since years, I never felt good with Reaper. I really tried it by using it for 2 months.

Steinberg is too expensive and I know I'll finish by buying another daw. Maybe Studio one. For the moment, I have cubase 8, so, in several years....

I recommended Reaper to a friend of mine who used to use the greatest version of Cubase.

After a short period of finding his way and getting around some edges, he does all his new projects with Reaper.

    Excellent !

Sincerly, I hoped to have the same feeling of your friend but it didn't work for me...

Now, I have cubase 8 (I could buy the flutes with the price !! ), so I 'll wait a bit but the next time, I'll probably buy Studio One, it looks excellent and much less expensive !
