Sumon the beast (orchestral, filmmusic)

edited August 2012 in User demos
Hi there,

I started another piece. I made it for testing my new brass, of course, and moreover my new mixing room (valhalla room).

Sumon the beast (Soundcloud)

Have fun listening to this little piece. :)

Edit:

Some additional information about the production:

Host: FL Studio 10 Producer Edition
Woodwinds: WIVI Woodwinds
Brass 1: Samplemodeling Brass (2 Horns, 2 Trumpets, 2 Tenor Trombones, 1 Bass Trombone, 1 Tuba)
Piano: Pianoteq 4
Timpani: Wavesfactory Timpani
Strings: LA Scoring Strings Lite
Reverb: Valhalla Room

I have to say that it's very inetresting how big just 8 brass instruments can sound! I have trouble loading more SM brass instruments; so I load 2 additional horns and 2 trumpets in WIVI for my basic orchestral template. But acutally I did not use them in this track, since it already sounded very big to me with SM brass only. :)

I made some kind of "making of" video ... well, at least a very little insight to my productino process:

    Summon the beast (making of)

Sorry that the audio is not 100% sync to the video. Took me some days to get this like it is now ...
  • Bravo! :)
