Maciej Mulawa's Demo Midi Files

Maciej Mulawa's Demo Midi Files

Hi all,

Maciej Mulawa did a wonderful job with The Trumpet video trailer, whose aim was to exactly reproduce several original pieces performed by Axel Schlosser with his real trumpet.

Maciej also composed and performed many of The Trumpet demos available on our website.

We promised to make the corresponding midi files available to our customers. Here you are. 8-) )

The attached ZIP files contain both Cubase cpr sessions and MIDI files of the video trailer and several demos.

If you are using Cubase 4.1 or higher, simply open the cpr file of your choice.

If you are using another sequencer, please import the MIDI file, and assign the Player and the proper instrument to the loaded track(s).

For example - in the "Mute Song" you have to assign the same trumpet (Main Trumpet) several times with different mutes according to the track name.

Please make sure that you run the right tempo as indicated in the MIDI file name.

We really hope you will enjoy this experience.

We suggest to carefully analyse these midi sequences. Much can be learned from Maciej's work.

Please note, however, that these sequences were programmed before the keyswitches became available. Hence, they represent just one of the possible approaches to non real time applications.

With the current version of the Trumpet, use of the KS greatly facilitates the player's task, since several complex articulations can be shaped with just a finger touch.

An incoming video tutorial will focus on effective, simple ways to approach articulations and phrases.

In the wait, please take the time to read the manual for proper use of all the features of the instrument. It will be most rewarding. :)
