Used The Trumpet in a LucasArts Game
Hey folks,
I had the pleasure of working on the remake of Monkey Island 2 for LucasArts and while we had a tight budget for some live instruments, not all cues got the live treatment.
For that reason, the Trumpet was invaluable.
One cue that was originally up for a recording session was, I'm proud to say, axed out because the mock-ups delivered--definitely couldn't have done it without The Trumpet.
Unfortunately, while I'm not personally allowed to post the music, I have found a youtube video by a fan, and while it's not great quality, you can definitely get a sense for the versatility of the instrument!

The trumpet stabs in the beginning are The Trumpet blended with Project SAM, then the Trumpet with mutes follows.
The trombone (unfortunately SM's Trombone hadn't been released then) in this track is actually The Trumpet played at x2 speed and an 8va up and then slowed down to proper speed and pitch--it made for a very lazy sounding trombone, which worked for this piece.
Enjoy!
