French Horn and Tuba problems

I've purchased and installed the French Horn and Tuba. However, when I load the instrument, I get a message saying that CC! has not been received. The extent of my MIDI knowledge is selecting channels and using keyswitches. I've no idea how to get my keyboard to transmit CC1 other than for the modwheel, and all that does is add vibrato. It is a M-Audio Keystation 88. Presently, I get sound, but at a very low volume, and no kind of keyswitching capabilities. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
