Brigas Nunca Mais- Swam Flute

edited September 2017 in User demos
This is my first attempt to use a fancy UAD plugin that allows re-miking of instruments and placing them in a famous recording studio named Ocean Wave. I thought it would help adding realism to the SWAM Flute used in a recording I just did and this is the result:

Let me know what you think.

Sounds nice (even though for me the Guitar solo part features much too much reverb).

But looking at the UAD site: "Ocean Way Studio: €349) ??? !!!!!

Did you try the free "Space 360" ? I found it to provide great results with a real sax recorded by a clamp-mic.

Yes. I actually recommended you space 360 a few years ago :)

This one is very different technology, as it does room and Mike modelling.

UAD products are pricy, but there are deals a few times a year. I got this plugin in one of those. You also need UAD hardware to use them, so it's not practical for many, but quality is great. The reason the guitar have too much reverb is that the guitar player used reverb in his Roland effect unit during recording, so next time I need to try record him without his reverb.
