focusrite 2i4 audio device

edited July 2017 in General Questions
HI

Has anybody tested focusrite 2i4 audio device with an intel i5 PC?

I am using several sample modelling virtual instruments in my desktop PC.

Now, I plan to buy a 2i4 focusrite usb audio interface (it has an asio driver) together with my surface pro 4 (windows 10 pro, intel i5, 2.4 Ghz, RAM 4 Ghz) with my EWI 4000s (5 pin midi)to play the sample modelling libraries in my live performances. I need to be sure that the complete system will work ok, with vrey little midi latency. Do you think that this hardware combo will work ok?

Thanks for your help

Alejandro

I very happily use an NI Audio 8 that is specified for low latency and use with software instruments.
