I Thought About You - Alto Sax (The Saxophones SWAM)
Hi all, I recently tried out my new TEC USB Breath and Bite Controller 2, which I purchased to replace the broken version one model I had. This is a recording from that first time using the controller. It's of me playing the jazz standard "I Thought About You". Any tips / suggestions for making the alto sax sound more realistic would be appreciated. I used to play a real alto saxophone (selmer, etc) back in the day till carpal tunnel-like injuries put an end to that.
The following recording of mine also features the SWAM Alto Sax, but in a more upbeat setting. The sax solo starts at 1:56. The opening Ney solo was made with the iPad app, WorldScales, which I controlled by using the first version of the TEC Breath controller and the onscreen keyboard.
This last recording of mine has a trumpet solo (at the 1:22 mark) featuring the Sample Modeling Trumpet. The rest of the sounds were created using various iPad synths and apps.
