Problem with The Trumpet 2.0.1 update

edited July 2009 in General Questions
I have the Trumpet update (V2.0.1) and the updater is not finding my library for The Trumpet. The library is stored where I store all of my Kontakt3 samples, in a folder in my Documents section. I'm running MacBook Pro w/ OSX 10.5.7.

How do I direct the updater to locate The Trumpet folder? I haven't renamed it or anything.

The updater doesn't give me any option or recourse.

Thanks for your attention.

If an updater cannot find the library, it means that you moved the content. But actually there is no need to fix this problem, since 2.01 is not the newest version; I would strongly suggest to continue with the version 2.01a. The reason:

    - the version 2.01a includes a very important bug fix

    - the update procedure must be done manually anyway, so there is no reason to install 2.01 first.

Please download the Update 2.01a via the Service center and follow exactly the instructions in the readame file.

Please note, however, that the previous version (1.01) must work properly on your system. If you have problems even with the previous installation (1.01) because of moved content, please contact the Native Instruments technical support

    http://www.nativeinstruments.com/support.html

    - they are experts in rescuing libraries moved to other destinations :-)

BTW: If you are not in a hurry, please wait a few days - the free upgrade to The Trumpet 2.51 for Kontakt 3.5 is comming soon! :-)

    Best

That's happened to me before too. If you don't want to wait for the update, all you really need to do is point to the new location for the folder or files when the windo pops up asking where to locate the missing files. From that point on, you shouldn't have to do that each time.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
