kontakt player limitations

edited May 2009 in General Questions
Hi, not a complaint, just looking for a little advice.

I use the Kontakt player, but it appears the save options are very limited. Any suggestions that won't cost an arm and a leg  I've tried Reaper, but I lose quality.

The thing is I set up Mr T for one song and want different settings for another song. I can save the file, but it doesn't save things like transpose etc  .

Then theres the reverb and equaliser, you can save the reverb (but you still have to select it  )but not the equaliser   .

Anyway, its OK at the moment, a little annoying, but impossible for live work. I want to be able to set Mr T, every setting, and just call it up as I left it, surely not a lot to ask in the age of the computer

Shame that it looks like I will need another program, as the included player is so limited at such a basic level :( .

Regards Pete.

    Hi,

The other way is to use some extra VST's reverb and equalizer witch have there own preset and user save...

I do this : in a VST host called "CONSOLE", i open the sax with only the saved basic settings and connect some vst extra effects : every thing can be saved.

Console is the only vst host capable to start with a user preset :put it in the start program and ...
