The Viola Tutorial by Dmitriy Goriuk

edited December 2016 in User demos
I must commend The Viola Video Tutorial by Dmitriy Goriuk at the bottom of the Viola demo page.

It is incredibly helpful and useful for anyone trying to deal with the incredible number of parameters in the SWAM engine. I found it far more helpful than the User Manual because in a video you can show processes far more clearly than with a written document.

Having never played a string instrument, other than some early attempts to play the cello, having most experience with learning to play wind instruments, I was unfamiliar with serious String playing terminology and found the parameters to be surprisingly complex. This is especially true for someone attempting to use a windcontroller for playing strings.

So I want to once again express my heartfelt thanks to Dmitriy Goriuk for taking a lot of his time to produce a tutorial so very useful to all of us.

There ought to be a video tutorial like this for every Virtual Instrument. He's done a beautiful job going over every button and slider.

Thanks once more !!
