I'm back! here's a Dreamworks mock up I created with Sample Modeling brass. Let me know what you think!

Thanks for sharing, Nexus. It's a nice mock up. Care to share the processing details? Getting various virtual instruments to sit well together is always a trick. I thought the brass seemed a little farther "back" here relative to the strings. It's something I struggle with so I'd be happy to learn from your mock up experience.

Hey Modern, thanks for listening! I more recently started using Virtual Sound Stage 2 to help place the instruments, and it seems to be working pretty well. The brass were intentionally set back a bit to mimic the original recording. The strings in the original sound pretty far in front as far as distance to microphone is concerned. I might have been able to use a tad more reverb to make them sit a bit better. That's always tricky.

    Hello.

The appears the YouTube video has been taken down. I'd love to hear your Dreamworks logo mockup if you still care to share it.

    Thanks!

Hey Paul! Yeah... I stupidly deleted it by accident, but I re-uploaded the video recently, so you should be able to see it now!

Thanks for reposting. Sounds great! Which string library did you use?

Hollywood Strings. It definitely works for most applications, although it'd be nice to have another high end string library as well to supplement.
