Problems with unzipping Sax T setup.exe file

edited December 2008 in General Questions
Ouch, it seems that nobody else (so far) has posted this problem.

After downloading the zip file at the website provided after purchasing The Sax,

when trying to unzip it using winzip, I got the following error:

Extracting Mr. Sax T Setup.exe

bad CRC f49948d9 (should be e0327433)

I then tried using Winrar which can unzip files, and got the following message:

! C:\temp\Mr Sax\Mr_Sax_T_PC.zip: CRC failed in Mr. Sax T. PC\Mr. Sax T Setup.exe. The file is corrupt

I tried downloading another copy of the zip file, and got the same exact results when I tried to unzip it.

It looks like the "Mr. Sax T Setup.exe" file is corrupt.

Any suggestions?

Just to let everyone know, after trying everything I could think of, including using freeware that could not repair the zip file CRC problem as advertised, among other things, I ended up downloading the file at least 10 times.

The very last time I downloaded it, I did NOT get any zip file opening errors, and got the thing installed

Now, I am too tired to play with it, but at least it opens up fine. I of course look forward to playing with this.

My first download (mac) was corrupted, the second one worked.
