Too late for my current gig where I need both horn and tuba. I'm making do with Garritan GPO 4 versions of these and also flute, clarinet and strings. They aren't too bad, and although probably not a direct competitor to SM, you get a lot of usable …

My advice is to visit the Patchman windcontroller site at http://www.patchmanmusic.com/. There you will find a FAQ with much information on your questions, as well as a forum with many discussions of the same questions. Dick

Peter, Thanks very much for the tips. I had already trying adjusting the CC25 value, but not to 0. When I tried that it made a big difference. I can still get a good sharp attack if I want it, but normally it responds very smoothly. Dick

I would like to have the same info. I have a number of soft synths and the only one I have this problem with is the Trumpet. I use the WX5, so it's not just your EWI. I have tried adjusting several of the settings related to attack, but with no luck…

Well, so far 61 views and no replies. Was this a dumb question? Mabye I cut off discussion by mentioning the attack parameters which I thought might be a way to fix the problem if properly adjusted. In any case, the fact remains that I get missing n…

Yvan, I'm not familiar with "console", but what you are doing with it seems very similar to what I do with Reaper. As I mentioned in the previous post, I solved the transpose problem by using the Trumpet as a VST. I use Reaper as the VST host. It …

Yes, as noted in my original post neither the internal tuning nor the midi transpose work as expected. According to Peter Siedlaczek in separate correspondence, the transpose function for The Trumpet was intentionally not allowed in the low octave t…
