CC Remapping
Question:
If I remap CC11 to CC1, how to I use Vibrato? Can I remap this to something else as well?

For now, I just use CC67 for Expression, since i only have MIDI Sliders, and CC1 for Vibrato.
No doubt, the best solution is to use an expression pedal mapped to CC11.
As a temporary workaround, you may map your modwheel (CC1) to CC11 by using the CC11 remapping utility provided with the instrument.
However, I need to underscore that using the modwheel to control CC11 is NOT recommended. I strongly suggest, and this is made clear in the manual, to use an expression pedal,or a breath controller, mapped to CC11, to control the dynamics.
Please believe me if, as a doctor, I assume you've got just two hands. This means that if you're going to control the dynamics with the modwheel and vibrato by another controller, the melody will be most likely missing.
Or do you think legs were made for jogging only?

Actually, What I also do when sequencing, I play the melody perfectly, and worry about the dynamics after. I set the expression at about 60-80, and the vibrato off. I know what I want it to sound like in my head. After the notes are in perfectly, I go back and rerecord over it just the expression, and Vibrato. (Usually one take for each). This way I get it all (nearly) perfect.
I do, on the other of four hands, see how an expression pedal would be better. theres more articulation with the pedal than the Modwheel, and I see that I need to do more Fine tuning with a modwheel than a pedal.

I like to play my instruments using the modwheel to control dynamics (like I do with all my other instruments). Then later mess with the vibrato.
So I woul dlike to customize The Trumpet so it works like my other instruments (i.e. dynamics with CC1).
This remapping option will be a priority for the next update of The Trumpet.
Thanks for your cooperation,
