my two official demos for "The Trumpet"

edited December 2008 in User demos
Hi all,

I should have posted it way more early in here, but well ... work :) ... anyway, here are my official two demos for "The Trumpet"!

Just a little note: This demo was done - from downloading the files, to getting familiar with "The Trumpet" until uploading the mp3 - at around 4 hours.

Okay, here the human factor might be overdone a bit. The ensemble somethings drives a bit apart and on some parts the player might exhaust here and there. I heard much more perfect recordings by real live players on e.g. Star Wars EP03.

... of course you can always tweak "The Trumpet", but at a certain point it might just be a matter of taste and the character/ability of the trumpet players HOW you tweak it.

Also I know that the ending is not typically trumpet, but I just wanted to test the Trumpet on kind of a virtuoso line and unusual playing - how realistic can I get, how would I want the players to react when playing that line, can I get it realistic ...

Hope you enjoy the tracks, thanks a lot for listening and of course you can also listen to the tracks on my website too http://www.alexpfeffer.net !!

    Alex,

"Svapnaayate" is one of my favorite demos :)

I like too much these chords (sounds like those used by Allan Holdsworth) and the title fits really this piece of music

    Is it your composition ?

    Hey Valouz,

first of all thanks a lot!

Yes, Allan is one of my gods ... but it's completely my composition.

I am just totally influenced by his use of harmonies :)
