KS with Sonar 7
I'm really enjoying experimenting with these great trumpet sounds... but I'm having a problem getting the key switches to work with my sequencer (Sonar 7).
I've put a nice 4 count high D in place, my CC 11 envelope allows me to hear it just fine. Now, I've added a B 1 whole note on beat 3 of the D with a velocity of 100... and I expected to hear the D for two counts with some sort of fall occuring on beat 3...
I still just get the full four counts of the D, no fall. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?
Also... is there any way to post a few MIDI files somewhere? Seeing some of these effects in action would certainly answer a LOT of these early questions!
Thanks!

I'll tackle this issue tomorrow. Could you please send me your midi to test in the meanwhile?
Thanks and best regards,
Giorgio
Let's see how it works.

I sent my midi file to Peter and got a quick response. (I didn't quite know how to attach a file to the forum posts!) He looked at the file and said that the note that Cakewalk Sonar 7 was calling "B1" was actually "B-1", a note two octaves lower than what that Trumpet software was looking for to activate the Key Switch fall.
I just tried transposing that Sonar "B1" up two octaves - and what do you know? It works great!
The Trumpet software calls middle C = C3.
Sonar calls middle C = C5.
So Sonar users: the Key Switch note for the fall is called "B3" in the Cakewalk program. I assume all the other Key Switches are two octaves higher, too.
Thanks for the quick answers guys! Can't wait to try out a lot more of the Key Switches!
