Trumpet 3 Flugelhorn ( non jazz )

edited July 2016 in User demos
I am really loving the Trumpet 3 upgrade. The flugelhorn is so great for jazz. I tried something here in a more legit style. Great fun to play. :)

    Great !

But I would like a flugelhorn Jazz example a lot more. Could you upload one ?

Could you point out which new features of version 3 you use to improve the result ?

BTW.: to my untrained ears the fast upwards movement in your example sounds very realistic. Do you (or the software) use any method to create a trumpet - like temper instead of the standard "correct" temper ?

    Thanks a lot !

Thanks Michael. I'll do some jazz stuff soon. The sound here is right out of the box, with the exception of Valhalla reverb. All of the instruments got a makeover in Trumpet 3 as far as I can tell. More even response across the keyboard and of course the unison mode which creates a nice stacked trumpet section...not poly but it sounds great. Lots more... Well worth upgrading IMHO.

OK Michael, I did a quickie jazz thing with the flugel. All real time of course.

Keep in mind that Perry is very gifted musician and make all virtual instruments sound realistic with phrasing, emotion and musicality.

It was a pleasure to listen to both performances, Perry.

Frankly, it was a lost drop for me - bought the beast yesterday. :)

    Thank you.

The Trumpet 3 upgrade sounds awesome! Trumpet 2.52 was very good, however, you can get trumpet 3 to sound any way you want, whether a breathy sound, or a tubby jazz sound, or that perfect lead trumpet sound to cover the brass section. Just as in T bone 3, you can emphasis whichever overtones you want to sculpt the sound you want. Kudos to Sample modeling, I've been waiting 30 years for this. Awesome!
