More expressivo playing samples via voice translator, but SM?
Have had an extended range of expressiveness with an ordinary non-vibrato sample (Blakus Cello) played by a midi translation of a vocal track by Melodyne. Melodyne, unless I am missing a setting, only translates velocity and PB data. The PB data is amazingly tracking the voice in all of its microtonal subtleties. However, how can I:
1. Translate CC dynamic expression data or convert it from the velocity data?
2. Set up a template with (my numerous) SM instruments that don't each keep asking for cc data to enable them? Since I mostly just want the PB and velocity/dynamic data, can I just use SM instruments in this case like a regular non-vibrato sample?
3. Adjust pitchbend in latest SM Brass to 2 semitones? When in BC mode it reverts (in The Trombone at least) to 1 semitone. In WC mode, I set it to 200% but don't see how to retain the portamento I had in BC mode.
Thanks, it is a worthy new dimension to make work with these great instruments!

You could use Reaper as a VST host and do a JSFX script that is used as a plugin in the track "before" the SWAM VSTi. This works as well live as with recorded Midi data.

The first cc message will make SWAM happy. If necessary you could configure Reaper (or the JSFX) in a way that it sends it directly after loading.

Not necessary when preprocessing the Midi data.
If not used "live", I suppose there are DAWs that feature Midi Editors that can do such conversions offline.
