v-machine

edited November 2008 in General Questions
Hi, sorry to be bombarding you with questions, but I have just been viewing the V-machine. To have a dedicated hardware unit to play your sax would be a dream.

Unfortunately I'm new to virtual instruments, so would you have any idea whether the V-machine would work and more importantly give good resulte using your instruments?

Regards Pete.

that is a very good idea. I've seen another box of this kind, but forgot the name. The V-Machine, however, has a 1 GHz CPU and 512 MB memory. I doubt that samplemodeling instruments will play smooth, but this must be tested first, since this box has no big operating system.

If it does not work, we just have to wait for a box with more power. Anyway, such boxes like the V-machine will be very useful for many purposes.
