Suggestion: educational resources on using modeled libraries like this one and the Infinite series.

As someone who has very little midi orchestration experience and certainly not a lot of experience with the instruments modeled in these packages, I noticed that there is a definite lack of education on 'best practices' for performance of virtual instruments.

So what I was thinking would be cool is an educational resource that provides example midi and automation (even if it's just a print screen) of how to do best practices for these instruments. It would be neat to hear small phrases of commonly used articulations and see how they are programmed.

  • Danaf,

this is an excellent suggestion. We tried to implement it, at least partially, with some walktroughs and tutorials. Several MIDI are also available. A new series of tutorials will follow. Tips and tricks will be published on our new youtube Samplemodeling channel, as soon as we will be a little bit more re-organized.

    Thanks,

    Giorgio

An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
