What is this thing called love

edited October 2013 in User demos
This was recorded as part of my week 1 assignment for Coursera improvisation course and is featuring the amazing SWAM soprano clarinet. In some ways I think the SWAM clarinet is superior to SWAM saxes, since it sounds to me closer to the real instrument articulation in fast phrases. What do you think?

I think you need use PichBend to make it realistic.

I use a wind controller and bend pitch with lips. There are a few places it was used here, but not much.

I found that bending pitch more than +-2 quickly, can sometimes create a sound of artificial synth bend (like how samplers band notes in unrealistic way), so it was limited here to +-2.

I am in the process of tweaking presets for new update of SWAM clarinets and saxes and will test if there is improvement with deeper quick pitch bend.

I find that SWAM sax works much better with fast passages and short notes after the 2.1.0 updates, so I need to experiment with the new engine.

    Thanks for the feedback!
