A Quiet Little Moment

edited January 2017 in User demos
Another composition featuring SWAM saxophones (Alto and Tenor) with Trumpet3. This time, a traditional slow romantic jazz ballad, taking inspiration from legends such as John Coltrane, Lee Morgan, Chet Baker and others.

    Very nice playing.

IMHO less reverb would be better ;)

    Thanks!

Feedback noted. I'll play around with the reverb. :)

When I wrote less I mean less wet. I think that the length/time is ok

Nice work! I think the reverb sounds like a live jazz club stage. :) Again, personal opinion. It depends on the type of venue you were going for. A more intimate sound with a bit less reverb would sound nice as well.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

I updated the track with a few minor tweaks. I also adjusted the reverb just a bit. It still has that nightclub sound, only a little less muffled (like maybe you're sitting a bit closer to the stage :) ). I also pushed the saxophones a little bit further away from center, to get better stereo separation.

Let me know what you think!

  • I would never guess that these are virtual instruments. Excellent playing through out. Also outstanding composition. Thanks for sharing.
