Chicago Style Brass

edited January 2017 in User demos
I used to play real trumpet in a cover band in the mid 1970's. Fun to do this clip with virtual instruments. Feeling nostalgic for old days...and new beginnings. Happy New Year!

What a great vibe to start the new year! Thanks for sharing, Perry. Is this your own arrangement? I need to do some transcribing of some Chicago pieces to get this style under my fingers. I love that horn section sound and you've got a nice command of it.

Thanks John. I was trying to do it from memory...I always liked that extended percussion section of Beginnings. I recently picked up NI's Cuba and I'm loving the percussion stuff in it. I tried to tack on the vocals...well, I'm not a vocalist! I may try to do some of the trumpet & trombone solos. It's a fun song to play. :)
