Sticking notes with Horn

edited March 2012 in General Questions
I'm getting a lot of stuck notes with all the Horn patches. I don't get them with the Tuba or the Trumpet. Is this a known problem, or are there some settings I could look into changing? I am using Breath Controller. I will check with Wind Controller later.

  • Hi Daryl,

this has not been reported before by our beta testers.

Does this problem occur also with the "main" instruments, or only with those labelled as "for unison ensemble"?

Are you using the instruments in the BC mode (the BC button = yellow)? CC2 mapped to expression?

Does the problem occur in KB mode?

Could you please provide us with a midi and the corresponding audio showing the problem.

You may contact us via email for further data exchange.

Is BTW anybody else experiencing this issue?

    Thanks for helping.

The problem is intermittent. I am using the main Horn 1 (I haven't got round to the unisons yet) and the only setting I've changed is to click the BC button and save it under a different name, so that I don't have to click it every time I load it.

Once the stuck notes start, the only way to get rid of them is to close the project. When I re-open it, there is no problem. Until it starts again. it only seems to happen with BC which comes in on CC2. I can see the stuck notes on the Kontakt keyboard.

I've never used KB mode, and I don't have a controller set up for CC11, so I can't test that ATM.
