Kontakt 3 crossgrade?
Hi there,
I was just wondering if purchasing The Trumpet will qualify us for the Kontakt 3 crossgrade from NI?
I still plan to purchase it either way, but it would be nice if I can use this to get a discount on K3.
Kind regards,
Ben H

I thought so too, but I thought I'd better check anyway.
Giorgio,
Thanks for looking into this for me.
This is also apparent from "Check for software upgrade" in the Trumpet Player:
"Special Crossgrade Offer to get the powerful KONTAKT 3
For registered users of KONTAKT Player (1 or 2), KEYBOARD COLLECTION, KOMPAKT, INTAKT (including all versions on 3rd party sample libraries)
Just $ 279 / € 249 instead of $ 449 / € 399 for the full version! "
Best,
Giorgio
Now all I need to do is wait patiently for the "buy" button to appear.

I use Kompakt with EWQLSO. Do I understand that buying your trumpet product entitles me to the special crossgrade offer mentioned above?
Also, will your product work with Kompakt?
Your demos sound amazing!

If you own any Kompakt or Kontakt Player library, then you can crossgrade to the FULL version of Kontakt at the reduced price.
I own The Trumpet, and I have just done this yesterday myself.
You could still qualify with EWQLSO, but I recommend that you buy The Trumpet anyway because it is just awesome!
Cheers,

Edit: Oops, I forgot to answer the 2nd part of your question.
The Trumpet comes with a special NI "Player," like EWQLSO. Now instead of being called "Kompakt instruments, they are now known as Kontakt Player instruments.
Just like Kompakt instruments could be played in the full Kontakt, the new Kontakt Player instruments will play in the full Kontakt.
Hope that makes sense?
