Nice update for The Trumpet!

Thanks for updating The Trumpet. It works great in Kontakt 3.5. I'll be watching for the next instrument, soprano, trombone or whatever! :D -Perry-

  • Yes the new BC-Mode (note is played only if CC2 > 0 ) rocks! I have only two things which makes The Trumpet not "The Perfect Trumpet":

    - When playing in BC-Mode, the note-ending is slightly harsh, it feels like it skips the values between 0 and 15 and stops the sound. Of course you can apply those ending-keyswitches, but it would be nice, if the standard ending would be more natural.

    - the plunger mute isn't very usable at all. I love all mutes (the most convienient use of convolution I've ever heard), but the keyswitch-solution is somehow inefficient (because you lose your left-hand holding a key during your whole play). Plus, BC controls the Wah-Wah Effect, which isn't neither realistic (your right hand does the job) nor applicable (You can't play dynamically any more). So please add the plunger to the mute-drop down and add another CC for plunger position, which could be controlled via eg. expression-pedal.

As far as I'm into scripting, this should not be a big effort.

If you somehow manage to integrate those ideas into the next small update (no need for hurry :-)) ), this would be great.

Besides, I can't wait for the trombone!
