Getting a Super High BufferSize Error Message

edited May 2016 in General Questions
I am using Band-in-a-Box and I have had the environment set with a BufferSize of 512 samples. But when I attached THE FLUTES' flute as a VSTI I get the error message "BuffersSize 4096 is too big! Please set the BufferSize between 64 and 2048 samples."

(In spite of this message I got the flute to play but it sounded terrible and washed out--no life or zip. Maybe because of too big a BufferSize?)

What is causing this BufferSize problem? How can I fix it since my settngs are only Buffersize of 512? Also how can I get the Flutes to sound as good as it does when I play it as standalone intrument with SaviHost? (I think if the BufferSize problem gets fixed the sound quality will be rectified by this-but I do not know for sure.)
